The victim has been identified as Piyush Soni, a resident of Shivalik Vihar in Nayagaon. Piyush is studying in class 6th in a private school here. The victim’s father, Rajender Prasad, a vegetable vendor, said in his complaint to the police that on October 9, Piyush went outside their house by taking some clothes in his school bag and he did not return after that. His parents are not suspicious on anyone. ASI Jasveer Singh, the investigation officer, said, “We have registered a case under Section 365 (kidnapping or abducting with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine person) of the IPC at the Nayagaon police station. We are investigating the matter. So far, no clue has been found.”
