2nd free Covid vaccination camp organized at Gian jyoti Institute

Nabaz-e-Punjab, Mohali, July 17:
Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology, Mohali in collaboration with Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Punjab organized 2nd free COVID Vaccination Camp at its campus for the students, staff and the general public. The vaccination camp, which was a CSR initiative taken by the institute witnessed a massive response from the local community during which 350 people got themselves jabbed against the corona virus. On this occasion, the Chairman of the institute, Mr. J. S. Bedi said that GJIMT has been working towards the health and safety of the students and staff during the current pandemic situation and this vaccination drive is part of institute’s health and safety campaign. Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, GJIMT in her message conveyed that the institute firmly believes in fulfilling its social and moral responsibility by taking such initiatives for the welfare of human kind. She said that apart from taking safety measures for its staff and students, the aim of the drive is to create awareness and encourage more and more people to become part of this fight against COVID-19.

The local residents of nearby areas were all praise of the institute for taking a noble initiative for the people of the vicinity by organizing this camp. Mr. Amandeep Singh, Medical Assistant who was a part of the medical team appreciated the hard work and efforts put in by the institute and the arrangements done by the organizing team for the vaccination camp. On the culmination of the camp, Dr. Aneet Bedi conveyed her heartfelt gratitude towards the Health Department officials, District Administration and medical team who once again worked in a coordinated and efficient manner to make the 2nd vaccination drive successful.
