CGC Jhanjeri honored 14 Teachers with Best Teachers Award on Teachers’ Day

Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri celebrated Teachers’ Day in auditorium. Remembering Dr. S.Radhakrishnan, the management headed by Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC and all the teachers paid floral tributes to the greatest teacher of India. A colorful cultural programme including Giddha, Dance, Songs & Poems was presented by the talented teachers of the Institute. The ‘modeling event’ presented by the teachers stole the hearts of everybody. In this event Ms. Vibhuti Gupta, Ms. Reetika & Mr. Ashish Kumar captured first, second and third positions respectively.

On this occasion, the teachers of the college having achieved excellent results in PTU exams and having made remarkable contribution towards the growth of the college, were honored with the Best Teacher awards. These include Dr. Kishor Kulkarni (Mechanical), Anshul Pardesi (MBA), Richa Mehta (ECE), Syed Mohd. Arif (Civil), Ramanpreet Kaur (CSE), Vinod Dhull (Applied Sciences), Vibhuti Gupta (Agriculture), Vishal Jindal (BBA), Harwinder Singh(B.Com.), Kulpreet Kaur (BCA), Harpreet Kaur (Fashion Technology) and Arun Sareen (Senior Trainer). Dr. Raman Chadha (CSE) and Jatinder Kaur of (ECE) were given special awards for carrying out research work leading to filing of patents.
Congratulating all the recipients of various awards, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said that a teacher is the architect of the future of the youth of the country. Dr. G.D.Bansal, Director General said that teaching is the noblest profession which commands maximum respect in the society. Dr. Bansal appealed the teachers to work dedicatedly so that every teacher comes upto the expectations of the students.
