GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND PRIVATE MILLERS PROCURE 17934099.72 TONNES OF PADDY TILL TODAY

The Punjab Government agencies and private millers have procured total 17934099.72 tonnes of Paddy in Punjab till today evening which included 19048.972 tonnes procured on 15th December.
Disclosing this here today, an official Spokesman of Punjab Government said that out of total procurement of 17934099.72 tonnes of paddy in all the procurement centers of Punjab, the Government agencies procured 17660621.72 tonnes of paddy (98.5%) till date whereas 273478 tonnes (1.5%) of paddy has been procured by millers.
He said that PUNGRAIN had procured 6007911.276 tonnes (33.5%), MARKFED procured 3897247.477 tonnes (21.7%), PUNSUP procured 3847032.838 tonnes (21.5%), PSWC procured 1754147.508 tonnes (9.8%) and PAFC was able to procure 1772927.027 tonnes (9.9%) of paddy. The Central Government agency FCI had been able to procure 381355.5975 tonnes (2.1%).
