Health minister disburse the grants over Rs 11 lakh to the Panchayats of villages Dharamgarh ,Chaumajra and Patton

In order to give a push to development works in the villages of Mohali constituency, Minister of Health , Family Welfare and Labour, Punjab, Balbir Singh Sidhu disbursed cheques worth Rs. 11.10 Lakh. The funds were released from his discretionary quota and would be used for various development works.
Sidhu said, “The development work of the villages is my top priority; I aim to usher in an era of unprecedented development in the villages of Mohali.” Funds of worth crores have already been disbursed in the villages of Mohali constituency. Efforts are being made to provide facilities in all the sectors be it education or health. The numerous works of development have been accomplished in the constituency and the ongoing projects will also be completed in stipulated time”, he added.
Health Minister said that State Government is committed towards all-round development of villages.
Divulging details, Political advisor of Health Minister and Chairman of Market Committee Kharar, Harkesh Chand Sharma said that, from his discretionary quota Sidhu gave a cheque of Rs 2.80 lakh to the Panchayat of village Dharamgarh, out of which 2 lakh rupees would be spent for the street lights and Rs 80,000 to buy a water tanker. A cheque of worth Rs 4.80 lakh was given to the Chaumajra Panchayat. The allocated money will be used to make the streets with paver blocks and to buy a water Tanker. Rs 3.50 Lakh were given to the Panchayat village Patton to install a hand pump and benches in Crematorium.
