House honors welfare association organizes drawing competition of school children

Nabaz-e-Punjab, Mohali, October 11:
House Honors Welfare Association, Phase 5 today organized a drawing competition of schoolchildren amid a pandemic in government school of Phase 5 here. The objective of the competition was to freshen up the minds of children who have not gone to their schools since the pandemic started in the country.
A total of 58 students comprising two age-groups, 5-8 years and 9-13 years, took part in this competition. The chief guest of the program, Inspector Manphul Singh, Station House Officer of Phase 1 police station, said, “The students were given themes related to environment and coronavirus pandemic. They got a platform to show their creativity after a long.”
Association president, Baljit Kaur and Manphul Singh distributed prizes to the winners of the competition.
In the 5-8 age group, Samridhi, Ritvik and Chitwan Kaur bagged first, second and third positions respectively while in the 9-13 age group, Bhumika, Siya Pandey, and Anshika got the positions of first, second and third respectively.
