Counseling for the posts of Upvaid from December 21- 24: Raman Behl

Keeping in view the commitment of the Punjab Government towards the people, to provide employment to the youth, the counseling of the candidates as per the advertisement number 6 of 2012 issued by the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board for the recruitment of 85 posts of Upvaid is going to start from December 21 and will be concluded on December 24.
Raman Behl, Chairman, Punjab Selection Board said that as per the guidelines issued by Research and Medical Education Department in 2015, registration with the Board of Ayurvedic and Unani System of Medicine Punjab, had been made mandatory. So candidates are advised to get their registration done before the Counselling date.
Behl said that for the convenience of the candidates for the posts of Upvaid the Board has given three weeks to the candidates to get their registration done and the counseling has been fixed from December 21. The recruitment process for these posts was stalled due to a civil writ petition filed by some candidates in the Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court.
The Chairman wished a bright future to the candidates and advised them to prepare for the tests to be conducted by the Board from now onwards. He said that the last date for online application for the recruitment of Assistant Superintendent of Jails in the Punjab Jail Department is December 07, 2020. He advised the candidates to apply before the last date for these posts.
