Balbir Sidhu laid down the foundation stone of the Health and Wellness Centre at Jagatpura

This Health and Wellness Centre will be made with Rs. 32.52 Lakh within a period of 6 months

The minister said the Government’s vision is to deliver the health facilities at Village and slum level

The Punjab government’s first priority is to make the Health and Wellness facilities available at the Village and Slum level especially during the ongoing pandemic. This was said and highlighted by the health minister Sh. Balbir Singh Sidhu while laying the foundation stone of Health and Wellness Center at Village Jagatpura. Along with this he added that such Health and wellness centers also gave impressing work in treating patients in the ongoing pandemic. They have helped in identifying the Covid cases at early stages and have provided help to those who were quarantined. The minister said that in these Health Centers patients are provided with various kinds of checkups and are treated for Heart diseases and Diabetes. He added that these health centers also provide telemedicine and along with help of team of Medical officers a telemedicine center is established in the Chandigarh sector 11. The Medical officer sees the patient through Virtual platform and gives medicine at per the symptoms of the patient.
The Supt. Engineer Sh. Kuldeep Singh said that this Health center will be constructed within 6 months.
