Meri Uddan Foundation Chandigarh celebrated Betiyon ki Lohri

Nabaz-e-Punjab Bureau, Chandigarh, January 14, 2022:
on the auspicious occasion of Lohri Meri Uddan Foundation Chandigarh celebrated “ Betiyon ki Lohri” at Dadu Majra Colony Chandigarh. Founder President Mrs. Mona Gharu and a team of Meri Uddan Foundation celebrated this Lohri as “Betiyon ki Lohri” dedicated this celebration to the newly born girl children so that society should understand the importance of a girl child. Meri Uddan is dedicated towards the education and overall upbringing of a girl as whole team of meri uddan working on the mission to change the thinking of masses to think girls as a burden on the family of society and to develop our society a better space for the girls to fly high to make their dreams fulfilled. Newly born Girl Babies along with their mother handed over the jhonsons baby kits and lohri hampers from the hands of Area Councilor Mr. Kuldeep Dhalor and Mr. Rajinder Bagga Ji – Director President – Chandigarh Ram Leela Committee.

Celebration is followed by a cultural and dance program by the girls of 3 years to 20 years to make them special for their special day as “Betiyon ki Lohri” Team of “ Meri Uddan” making a mark in Society through their social work and social concerns to make a society of love affection and togetherness.
