It is alleged that the printed poster was put on the local guide map near Sector 66/67 traffic lights by unknown man in which threat to kill the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh was mentioned. It was written that a reward of one million dollars was given to the person who kill the chief minister. According to the sources a case has been registered against the unknown under Sections 504, 506, 120 B, 34 of the IPC and 3, 4 and 5 of the Punjab Protection of Defeasance Property Ordinance Act at the Phase11 police station. A senior police officer said that the investigation has been started in this regard after registering an FIR and the accused will be nabbed soon. Help is also being sought from the cyber team to nab the accused. At the same time, CCTV installed around is also being investigated by the Mohali police. As per the sources, the mobile number was not written on the poster, but the accused under the poster has written a email address- ibrahim@hotmail.com on it. The email has been sent to the cyber team, on which a team is working and it is being ascertained in whose name it is running and who is operating it. However, no police official opened his mouth on the record regarding this matter. The police failed to search any clue about the accused till the time of filing this report.
