Applications invited for Nari Shakti Puraskar

Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India has invited applications for Nari Shakti Puraskar from individuals and institutions rendering distinguished service to the cause of women.
30 Puraskars will be conferred on March 8, 2018 by Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India on the occasion of International Women’s Day and will carry an appriciation certificate and cash award of Rs 1 Lakh.
These awards would be given to those organizations/NGOs who have done remarkable work for women at social and economic level, have contributed in reducing child sex ratio, made women aware of constitutional rights, have done unique work for women’s welfare and improvement, and the organization/NGOs should have field working experience of 5 years.
For Individual award, the nominated candidate should be 25 years old on the last date for nomination, has made an important contribution in reducing child sex ratio, made women aware of constitutional rights, has done unique work for the women’s welfare and improvement, and should have field working experience of 5 years.
