Aryans started working under Saansad Aadarsh Gram Yojana for Jansua Village

Nabaz-e-Punjab Bureau, Mohali, 24th June:
Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh has started working in Jansua Village under Saansad Aadarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) allotted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while speaking on the occasion said that under the leadership of Prof B.S Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group, students of Nursing Department today visited around 120 homes in the Village and spread awareness regarding the general health in the Villagers.
It is to be mentioned that under this rural development programme, Dr. Dharamveer Gandhi, MP, Punjab has adopted this Village Jansua for its reformation with the technological interventions and AICTE has given this project to Aryans.
Kataria further added that in the 1st phase, Aryans has worked for General Health Measures and soon the B.Ed teachers would work to spread the awareness to raise the literacy level among the villagers.
Mrs Neha Thakur, HoD, Nursing Dept while speaking said that students gave health talk on Personal Hygiene, Environmental Sanitation, Family Planning, Malaria and Dengue fever. Students also maintained the record of Blood Pressure, Diet and weight. The cases of hypertension, hypotension, tuberculosis and diabetes etc were prevalent for which special instructions were given to them.
