The members of Lok Insaaf Party among other activists, who reached Mohali today from Amritsar to meet Punjab Chief Minister, on cycles under their campaign ‘Kissan Bachao, Punjab Bachao Rosh Yatra’. Deputy Superintendent of Police (city 1), Gursher Singh, said, “We have registered the case against around 150 activists, who were gathered here during their cycle rally. In the FIR, around four names were added including Simranjt Singh Bains and Balwinder Singh Bains. The case was registered under Sections 51 of the Disaster Management Act and 188 of the IPC at the Mataur police station.” The DSP said that the accused MLAs were yet to be questioned in this matter as the investigation was initiated.
