ENTIRE FAMILY OF THE EIGHT OLD BOY SHOWERS PRAISE FOR JALANDHAR COMMISSIONERATE POLICE’S BENEVOLENT GESTURE

In another benevolent gesture, the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police brought smile on eight years old Master Harshil Gujral by celebrating his birthday amidst curfew after his mother had appealed for it during Flag March going live on Facebook.
It was on Tuesday late evening that the Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma and Commissioner of Police Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar were conducting flag march in various parts of city including BMC Chowk, Namdev Chowk, Jyoti Chowk, Basti Adda Chowk, Football Chowk, Basti Nau, Basti Guzan, Babu Jagjivan Ram Chowk, Babrik Chowk, Basti Shiekh, Model House, Guru Ravidaas Chowk, Wadala Chowk, Cheema Chowk, Urban Estate and others areas, which was going live on Facebook. It was at 8:10 pm that during the live Mrs. Monisha Gujral, a resident of Harbhans Nagar locality of the city, drew the attention of the officers that her eight year old son was crying bitterly as his birthday was not being celebrated due to the lockdown. She sought help from the officers to ensure the birthday of her son was celebrated, so that he doesn’t cries.
Swinging into action the Commissioner of Police himself talked to the family and greeted the family on the occasion. Mr. Bhullar said that the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police was committed for serving the people of the city in best possible way. He then deputed Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Gurmeet Singh and Assistant Commissioner of Police Mr. Barjinder Singh to visit the residence of the birthday boy and celebrate his birthday.
Meanwhile, as the team reached at the house of Master Harshil, his entire family including father Mr. DeepakGujral, mother Mrs. Monisha Gujral, brother Master Laksh Gujral, grandparents Mr. Subhash gujral and Mrs. shashi bala were taken to surprise. The cops celebrated the birthday of the boy along with their family members and assured that the commissionerate police was committed for serving the society with missionary zeal.
An elated Mrs. Monisha Gujral thanked the Commissioner of Police for memorable birthday celebration of her son’s birthday even amidst curfew. Expressing gratitude to Jalandhar Commissionerate Police for the lovely celebration, she said that this birthday of her son would be memorable for the entire family. Saluting the Punjab Police, Mrs. Gujral said that she has no words for thanking Jalandhar Police for this cooperation.
