Capt Amarinder expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance comprising the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Punjab Lok Congress, and the Shiromani Akali Dal-Sanyukt will win a comfortable majority and form the next government in the state. While we will have to wait till March 10, I am confident that the people of Punjab have today decided to form the Double-Engine government in Punjab, which is the need of the hour and in the interest of the security and prosperity of the state”, he added.
