CGC Jhanjeri Students achieve maximum positions in IKG PTU’s Merit Lists

The students of Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri brought laurels by bagging as many as seventeen positions in the Merit Lists of PTU. These lists carry names of ten toppers of the University who complete their degree in the first attempt without getting Reappear in any subject from first year to final year class. According to Merit Lists of 2016 and 2017, the Engineering students of CGC Jhanjeri bagged 14, the highest number of positions in the entire state of Punjab with Jaspreet Kaur, B.Tech CSE 2016 batch and Sheya Papneja of CSE 2017 batch securing first positions in scoring 90.16% marks and 90.05% marks respectively. Others positions in these Merit Lists include Arzoo ,CSE, 90.13%, Jaspreet Singh ,ECE, 87.14%, Shubam Khajuria ,Mech., 88.19% & capturing second position were taken by Navdeep Singh ,Mech., 87.03%, Hermehak B.Com, 81.69%, winning third position, Ashish ,Civil, 84.47%, Parvinder Kaur ,CSE, 89.54%, Gurneet Kaur ,B.Com., 81.53%, getting fourth position, Lalit Gakhar ,CSE, 89.23%, Shafia Asif ,CSE, 89.23%, fifth position, Amanpreet Singh ,Civil, 83.39%, Zeeshan Ali ,Civil, 85.38%,, Nikita Chaman ,CSE, 88.49%,, seventh position, Oshandeep Kaur ,BBA, 81.95% 8th position and Palak Bansal CSE, 88.16%, 10th position.
