Dazzling performances Showcased on Freshers day party at CGC Jhanjeri

The fresher’s extravaganza marked as a memorable day of every fresher at Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjeri campus. The purpose of Fresher’s Day party was to give new entrants the sought comfort and create a homely aura.
Later, the stage was set for fresher’s to showcase their talent and compete for the Mr & Miss. Fresher’s Crown. The ceremony saw many dazzling performances by both seniors and juniors alike from energetic dance numbers that made the day more charming.
Patriotic Dance beat,Band Performance by Students,Martial Arts Act were center attraction of the show . Boys Girls Bhangra, Himachali Dance, Western Mashup Dance, Regional Dance, Tollywood Dance, Giddha etc kept audience captivated and enthralled .Modeling rounds were there, where juniors suppressed their feelings and introduced themselves. Dev & Arshiya, Sarfraj & Dakshita, Gawarjeet & Sumandeep were selected Mr. & Ms. CGC, Mr. & Ms. Charming and Mr. & Ms. Personality respectively.
President CGC Rachpal Singh Dhaliwal encouraged the students while distributing prizes among the winners and highlighted the need to inculcate positive attitude, leadership & team spirit in the life. According to them it was the day of love, affection, trust and above all the bond of togetherness and belongingness. Later, students were advised the students to amalgamate their creative skills in their respective profession to compete in the era of globalization with positive spirit.
