District Red Cross Society will help poor and needy persons as per prescribed charter: Sapra

Deputy Commissioner & SSP appealed to all Group A officials of various department of district to donate one day salary to Red Cross.

One day salary could be deposited at Bank Account No. 30062064174 of District Red Cross society.

On the World Red Cross Day, after donating their one day salary to District Red Cross Society with a motive to expand the horizon of District Red Cross Society to extend its hand to help poor and needy persons in the district with all possible manners, Deputy Commissioner Smt. Gurpreet Kaur Sapra & SSP Sh. Kuldeep Singh Chahal appealed to all Group A officials of various department in the district to donate their one day salary to Red Cross.
Deputy Commissioner said that any group A officer willing for donation could deposit one day salary at State Bank Of India Branch Phase-I Mohali at account number 30062064174 of Red Cross Society. The donation could also be deposited through online, Cheque, Bank draft and Internet Banking. Similarly SSP Sh. Kuldeep Singh Chahal also appealed the Group A Officials of the Police Department to donate their one day salary to District Red Cross Society. Deputy Commissioner said that with this financial assistance the activities being carried out by District Red Cross Society as per prescribed charter will be expedited and society will reach to more people and help them in every possible manner. Both the district officials appealed the public to contribute for District Red Cross Society for enabling the society to help more poor and needy peoples. During this Sunita Sharma PA to Deputy Commissioner & PA to Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Sh. Balbeer Singh also donated their one day salary to Red Cross Society. Deputy Commissioner further said that economic & hygienic food is being provided to the needy & homeless people at a marginal rate of Rs. 10 per meal, for which bank account bearing no. 1155000102100558 has been opened at Punjab National Bank Branch Phase- I, whereat any willing person could donate and complete information about this account will be made visible on website.
