Dr. Bhatia starts his office as a new vice president of PSEB

Dr Virender Bhatia has mad his presence for the first day in the office as the new Vice Chairman of Punjab School Education Board on Friday. Following the instructions of the Punjab Government amid covid-19, Dr. Bhatia took up his post in a very simple manner. On this occasion Education Minister Vijayinder Singla, Panchayat Minister Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Chairman Board of Education Prof Yograj, former Deputy Speaker Darbari Lal, MLA Sunil Dutti, Education Secretary Krishan Kumar, DGSE Mohammad Tayyab, Controller (Examinations) J.R. Mehrotra, Deputy Secretary Gurtez Singh and other board officials were present.
Apart from teaching Business, Commerce and Management at DAV College Amritsar for more than 21 years, Bhatia has also served as Principal at MCM College, Kangra and KRM DAV College Nakodar. He has also been nominated by the American Biographical Institute for his outstanding achievements in the academic field and society. Prior to his appointment as Vice Chairman, he was the Principal of SL Bawa DAV College, Batala. On this occasion, Dr Bhatia thanked the Punjab Government, especially the Education Minister Vijayinder Singla and the Panchayat Minister including the Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh and assured them of the responsibility entrusted to them.
He will carry it out with full dedication, honesty and a sense of service and for the autonomy of the Board of Education and the welfare of the employees as well as the students, he added.
