Civil Hospital, Phase-6, Community Health Centre, Banur, Sub-Divisional Hospital, Kharar, and Kissan Vikas Chamber, Aerocity, Chachu Majra, are the designated venues. Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh will launch the first phase of the covid vaccination drive in Mohali at the Kisan Vikas Chamber near Airport Road at 11:30am today. Officials said Kisan Vikas Chamber is an additional site where the number of beneficiaries are less. Mohali Civil Surgeon Dr Adarshpal Kaur said, ”The district administration and the health department are working jointly to make the drive a success. All preparations have been made for the excercise.” The vaccination drive for the health and the frontline workers is a voluntary excercise and the district administration officials are hopeful that people take part in the drive in large numbers. ”I have not come across any person who has refused to get vaccinated. People who want to get vaccinated will come of their own,” the Civil Surgeon said.
