Gian Jyoti Group of Institutions organised the Fresher’s Party AAGHAZ at its campus

Nabaz-e-Punjab Bureau, Mohali, 2 November:
Gian Jyoti Group of Institutions organized a Fresher’s Party under the title AAGHAZ for the newly admitted students at the institute premises. The major objective of the programme was to welcome the freshers in the campus. The Programme was graced by the presence of J.S Bedi, Chairman Gain Jyoti Group, Dr. Aneet Director, GJIMT. The formal event started with the Saraswati Vandana and lighting the lamp all the dignitaries.
The highlight of the day was Ms. and Mr. Fresher. The ramp was alive with sparks as the contestants sashayed down in their scintillating attires. The question-answer round put the brains of the contestants to test& Finally, Rayees Ahmad Wani of MBA 1st Semester bagged the title of Mr. Fresher and Ms. Sonika Kumari of B.tech 1st semester was crowned as Ms. Fresher. The event concluded with Dance Party of students.
Chairman Bedi welcomed the newly admitted students & exhorted them to instill the values of inquisitiveness, hard work, discipline, courage, altruism and patience in them. He emphasized that these qualities will help them in their professional journey.
Dr. Aneet, Director stressed upon the importance of dedication to one’s profession and the need to have proper planning before taking up and implementing any project. She also added that along with the curriculum, extra and co-curricular activities are also equally important for grooming of an individual.
