Gianjyotians spread the message through a rally in which they used the slogans Save Nature, This Diwali avoid crackers, save the environment and have pollution free and green Diwali. Students also had a Rangoli competition in which they beautifully depicted the Diwali celebration with Diyas and lights. A special assembly was organized in the morning in which they were made aware about the Eco-friendly and Green Diwali. Students were told to use earthen diyas, gift plants and use flowers & petals for rangoli during Diwali celebrations. Students made formation on “Go Green Diwali” in the campus ground. Mrs. Ranjeet Bedi, Principal, Gian Jyoti Global School while speaking on the occasion said that “All the activities were planned and scheduled to develop a sense of responsibility in students and staff members towards saving the environment by being ambassadors of change and celebrating Diwali in innovative ways and to make it green and eco-friendly. Mrs. Bedi further said that Diwali is celebrated across the country by children light crackers and fireworks which spoil the environment and the present environment don’t allow us to pollute it further. Mrs. Bedi also motivated and encouraged the students to pledge for cracker free Diwali to conserve the nature.
