Mata Sahib Kaur College and other Nursing have announced to take the responsiblity of providing education to the kin of martyr Subedar Paramjit Singh.

While talking to mediapersons in Mohali president of Khet Mazdoor cell Punjab Inderjit Singh Zira and Chairman of Mata Sahib Kaur College of Nursing Charanjit Singh Walia said that they came to know that IAS and IPS couple of Himachal Pradesh have shown interest for taking ward of the kin of martyr. While thanking this couple politely, Zira and Walia said that Punjabis have always been forward to take care of even kin of foreigners while the kin of martyr are of Punjab. The two also thanked IAS and IPS couple that atleast the couple has understood the pain, the kin of martyr is going through.
The two leaders said that Punjab is land of Gurus and Peers and Sikh Gurus have always taught for helping the needy. Zira and Walia said that working on the message of our Gurus, the two associations have taken the above decision. Walia further said that if the kin of martyr are interested in Nursing course, he will make all arrangements in Mata
Sahib Kaur College of Nursing for studies and hostel.
The two leaders said that they would go to the native village of the martyr “Vein Puin” on May 8 to provide financial,assitance to the family. Zira urged all the workers and leaders of Khet Mazdoor Cell to reach the village on 8 May at 12.00 noon to pay homage to the martyr.
