Mayor Jeeti Sidhu held meeting with the sanitation officials for cleanliness issue in the city

Officers to take special measures to keep their areas clean and tidy: Jeeti Sidhu

Negligence will not be tolerated

Mohali Municipal Corporation Mayor Amarjit Singh Jeeti Sidhu held a meeting with the officials of Sanitation Department today to ensure complete sanitation in Mohali. Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi and Municipal Commissioner Kamal Garg were specially present in the meeting 
Mayor Jeeti Sidhu said that any negligence in the sanitation system in the city would not be tolerated. He said that all the Sanitary Inspectors and Chief Sanitry Inspectors in their respective zones would ensure proper sanitation in the city. He asked the officials to inspect the sanitation system in their respective areas and take pictures of them and put them in groups. He said that if any contamination was found in any area then the responsibility of the Chief Sentry Inspector and Sanitary Inspector of that area would be fixed.
He said that it was very important to keep the city clean during this corona pandemic and for this the authorities should not be negligent in any way.

He said that Mohali was one of the major cities of Punjab and any laxity in sanitation would not be tolerated here. He also said that the officers of the Municipal Corporation would be encouraged to implement the best sanitation system in their respective zones. If there is any shortcoming, action will be taken against the officials of the area. The meeting was attended by all four Chief Sanitary Inspectors of Mohali Municipal Corporation.
