Releasing the list of 30 candidates of Azad Group for the upcoming Mohali civic elections, former Mayor Kulwant Singh said that in the past Balbir Singh Sidhu had tried to halt the development of Mohali due to his vested interests, the people of Mohali 14 On February will vote for Azad group to show their resentment against the unethical works of local MLA and Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu and his cotorie, leading the Azad Group to victory by huge numbers in order liberate Mohali from this Goondaraj. He said that in the last five years he had developed Mohali,consistently and without any bias and the same policy would continue for the next 5 years.
The people of the city are angry with Balbir Singh Sidhu for his narrow interests and for the fact that the sectors and villages of the city have been fragmented into wards and his only only interest is his self development rather than the development of Mohali city .
Talking about the goals of the Azad Group, he said that the city would continue its development free from corruption as before.
The 200 tenders passed in the past for the development of the city, which were stopped by Balbir Singh Sidhu, would be released.Elaborating on his achievements, Kulwant Singh said that the development works of the city’s parks, roads, parking lots, sanitation, sewerage, health gym, then clean water, street lights etc. were continued uninterrupted and new sewerage lines and water lines were started for the city. Which is under development.
He said that he had brought a modern pruning machine for the city to prune the trees, gas pipeline, city bus service, bring the expensive water bills of the sectors under GMADA under the corporation, to develop the societies like the rest of the city. But S. Balbir Singh Sidhu, while in government, instead of giving any government help for the development of the city, stopped the development of the city for his own narrow interests by stopping the above works for which he will now have to pay compensation and the people of the city will now repay the principal with interest.
