Mohali police arrested four snatchers, recovered 34 phones and an Activa

Nabaz-e-Punjab, Mohali, June 1:
Mohali police arrested four persons, who used to snatch mobile phones from innocent people. The police also recovered 34 stolen mobile phones and a stolen Activa scooter from their possession. The arrested accused have been identified as Sandeep Pandey, Sandeep Thapa, both residents of Phase 1, Rajinder Prasad, a resident of Green Enclave in Daun village and Chetan, a resident of Mohali village.
Sub Inspector Shivdeep Brar, SHO of Phase 1 police station said, “The gang of snatchers was active in various areas of Mohali. They had committed several thefts and snatchings. A case has been registered against them under Sections 379-B, 411 and 201 of the IPC. Further investigation is on.”
