A woman named Kulwant Kaur has been found corona virus positive. The above-mentioned woman is 80 years old and has been admitted to the Civil Hospital, Kharar. With this, the total number of positive cases in the district has gone up to 5. The Deputy Commissioner Mr. Girish Dayalan has said that the District Administration is taking all possible measures to provide top notch medical care to the affected people. He also said that anyone who comes into contact with the corona virus positive or symptomatic persons, would have to undergo precautionary quarantine. The DC also made it clear that home quarantine doesn’t mean that a person is symptomatic to or is corona virus positive. It is just a precautionary measure.
