National Gatka Association and ISMAA to conduct online Gatka coaching classes

In order to impart coaching of martial art Gatka among the children during the curfew imposed to contain the spread of COVID-19, National Gatka Association of India (NGAI) and International Sikh Martial Arts Academy (ISMAA) has commenced online coaching classes of Gatka.
Disclosing this here today, spokesperson of NGAI said as per the instructions of NGAI President Harjeet Singh Grewal, two coaches of the association Sukhchain Singh Kalsani and Yograj Singh are imparting online Gatka training on Zoom app and associations’ channel www.youtube.com/GatkaTV. He added that students of schools, colleges and universities of Haryana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh and Punjab could learn Gatka online as per the prescribed rule book of NGAI and ISMAA.
He revealed that vice-president of NGAI Sukhchain Singh Kalsani and head coach of ISMAA Yograj Singh have been providing these online training classes from basic level so that student could understand it easily.
He further informed that complete information on various rules related to learning of Gatka as per the prescribed rule book such as ‘Paintra’, use of ‘Stick’ and ‘Fari’ are being provided in detail. Apart from this, students could also learn how to get scores and avoid fouls while playing Gatka. All interesting students who wants to learn Gatka sould subscribe to this online channel.
