Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Punjab govt declares holiday on Birthday of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 Nabaz-e-Punjab Bureau, Chandigarh, January 30: The Punjab Government today declared holiday on birthday of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji in continuation of notification No.6/7/2017-2PP3/ 596-600 dated 27.12.2017, under the Explanation to Section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 read with the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Notification NO.20-25/26/Pub.1, dated 08.06.1957. Disclosing this, an official spokesman said that this has been issued in accordance with the directions issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance and Department of Economic Affairs (Banking division), New Delhi.
