This has been confirmed by Dr Manjit Singh, Director, Department of Health and Family Welfare. He said the minister was suffering from fever due to which he has been admitted in Fortis. Sidhu had personally given his sample on October 6 at the Civil Hospital in Phase here following mild fever and sore throat symptoms and the Minister’s report came positive after that. Earlier, Sidhu was asked to stay in home isolation for a fortnight. It was reported that Sidhu was admitted to the local Fortis Hospital today with a high fever. It may be recalled that the Health Minister has recently attended Rahul Gandhi’s farmers’ rally in Sangrur against anti-farmer farming laws. The stage was shared by him with the Chief Minister and other senior leaders. Recently, the report of the Chief Minister’s Corona Sample has come out to be negative. Apart from this Mohali constituencies have been conducting public dealings on a daily basis.
