This Summit was earlier slated to be held in Vietnam. Co-hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Horasis India has convened its annual extravaganza every year and this year, through a new digital conferencing platform, it will provide a podium to 400 most senior members of the Horasis Visions Community to jointly inspire India’s future. Confirming the details, Rana Sodhi said that he will present ideas in the summit about the innovative way-outs of the brain drain crisis faced by Punjab. “This critical moment, the Horasis India Meeting will take an in-depth look at both the short-term and long-term impact on the Indian and especially Punjab as well as World’s economy”, he said, adding that the Government of India and Indian business leaders need to proactively adapt to the challenges COVID-19 is presenting. This situation posed many questions on front of us includes which economic sectors are most hit? How does the government combat the expected downturn in India, and with respect to its overseas activities? He said that delegates will receive high-level briefings from Ministers of the Government of India, Chief Ministers of the Indian States and some of India’s best-known business leaders. Delegates will have the opportunity to interact with them to jointly develop solutions for dealing with the current crisis to help shape a durable and resilient economic system for India’s and the world’s post-COVID future. During this, they have discussed issues ranging from Punjabi culture to cuisine, folklore to forecasts of future of youngsters, folk music to saving the birds sanctuaries.
