SAS Nagar (Mohali) registers 472 cases in the past three and a half months

63 percent recuperated; nearly 35 percent active and 1.91 percent mortality rate

16 positive cases and 7 recoveries on Thursday

Witnessing yet another day of surge in COVID cases, SAS Nagar registers 16 positive cases coupled with the relief that almost every surge is accompanied sizeable recoveries, informed Girish Dayalan Deputy Commissioner, SAS Nagar adding that seven people recovered from the infection on Thursday.
The total occurrence of cases in the district in the past three and half months has been 472 while 294 which amounts to nearly 63 percent have recuperated. The active cases being nearly 35 percent ie 169. Also, the district has encountered 9 fatalities taking the COVID-19 mortality rate in the district to about 1.91 percent.
The new cases include 45 years Female from sector 66 Mohali, 40 years Female from Jhanjeri, 32 years and 6 years Females and 62 years Male from Shivalik City Kharar,24years Female from Mohali,29 years Male from Phase 1 Mohali, 58 years Female from Shivalik City Kharar,48 years Male from Kharar,41 years Male from Phase 4 Mohali,43 years Female from sector 125 Mohali, 68 years Male from Gillco Towers Mohali, 57 years male from Baltana,19 years and 47 years Males from Lalru and 79 years Male from Jharmari.
The 7 patients discharged include 38 years Male from Nayagaon, 45 years Male and 14 years Male from sec 114 Mohali, 22 years Male from Kumbra, 50 years Female and 65 years Male from Kurali and 28 years Female from Mundi Kharar.
