Students of Ashmah International School Thanked brothers for wearing helmets at Traffic Signals on Raksha Bandhan

Nabaz-e-Punjab Bureau, Mohali, 7 Aug:
Students of Ashmah International Scgool celebrated Raksha Bandhan at its campus. Children were familiarized with the customs and rituals of the festival. Students represented various regions and communities of India adorning traditional costumes. The students dressed in traditional attire. Students were told about the importance of sacred bond of brother and sister. Students also participated in rakhi making competition and made various kinds of rakhis. Every student experiment with different material to make rakhi.
Students also moved out on the traffic signal to thank brothers for wearing helmets and for not using their mobiles while driving and for giving such a beautiful gift to their sisters by following traffic rules.To take care the environment and to thank it students also tying Rakhis to the trees.Later ,to inculcate the spirit of patriotism in the students and to show their love and empathy towards the soldiers standing on borders for protecting us Students of the Ashmah School also went to my FM 94.3 radio station to pay the gratitude to the soldiers. Traffic officials were also given their due importance for controlling the traffic and saving the life of people. Principal of the School Babita Dogra appreciated the efforts of students and teachers said that all the festivals are integral part of our culture.
