Inspector Ashok Kumar, SHO Nayagaon police station, said, “We have registered the case against Usha Yadav under Sections 186, 188, 353, 269 and 270 of the IPC and 51 of the Disaster Management Act. The sections are non-bailable and she will be arrested soon.” The incident was occurred on April 21 when Usha, who was riding an Activa scooter, entered into arguments with the Punjab police cops after she was not allowed to take the road which was closed by the police due to the outbreak of Covid-19. The video of the whole incident went viral, following which action was initiated against her by the UT police.
